Dr Zaid Al Aubaidi United Arab Emirates

Dr. Zaid Al-Aubaidi achieved the Danish Royal Board in Orthopaedic and Trauma and fellowship in paediatric orthopedics and the European certificate as a pediatric orthopedic and spine surgeon. Since 2009; he had a position at the Odense university hospital as a consultant paediatric orthopaedic surgeon. At the same time, he was enjoying an academic position as an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Dr. Al-Aubaidi had active overseas activities. He was 3 times in Western Africa in a charity program. Besides, he had been active in organizing trips as visiting consultant to Switzerland, Germany, China and Iraq. During 2011, He had a fellowship at the Sick Kids hospital/ Toronto, with the focus on complex spine deformities. Since the end of 2013, he moved to UAE, where he is now working as a paediatric orthopaedic and paediatric spine surgeon at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. He is capable of treating wide range of paediatric conditions and research wise; he has more than 24 published papers. He is a member of several national and international societies (EPOS, DPOS, ICEOS, EFFORT) and a Co-Founder and general secretary of the Middle East Pediatric Orthopedic Society (MEPOS). Dr. Al-Aubaidi is fluent in English, Arabic and Danish.
