Dr. Zafar Quader is a consultant Gastroenterologist, with over 20 years of experience. He completed his medical training and gastroenterology fellowship in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Zafar has been in clinical practice and involved in clinical research in St. Louis, Missouri since 1995 and this past summer moved to Dubai, UAE. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Association of Bariatric Endoscopy. Dr. Quader provides individualized care to all adult patients with gastrointestinal disorders. His clinical practice emphasizes Colon Cancer Screening, therapeutic videoendoscopy, management of Irritable bowel syndrome, GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) (including Barrett’s esophagus) and the care and treatment of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative colitis). His special interests include Bariatric Endoscopy(which includes Gastric Balloon treatment for obesity), liver disease(including the treatment of patients with Hepatitis B & C) and esophageal motility disorders. He also has expertise in wireless capsule endoscopy, an endoscopic examination of the small intestine.
