Sonika is a genetic counselor from Melbourne, Australia who has worked in this region for over 4 years. During this time, she has helped raise awareness about the application and integration of genetic testing into disease prevention. Before moving to Dubai, Sonika has worked in various genetic specialties including pre-natal, pre-conception, cancer, metabolic, cardio and neuro genetics at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital, in Australia. She has done her Bachelors in Biomedical Science and Masters in Genetic Counseling from University of Melbourne, Australia.
