Since graduating from the Charles University of Prague in 2002 with a degree in Dental Surgery, Dr. Sofia Aravopoulou has been committed to changing the face of dentistry. She embraces the latest dental technologies and offers patients the least invasive treatments with the best results. Working with both children and adults, Dr. Sofia takes on a patient-centered approach, making sure to educate her patients on their problems and the different treatment options available. Dr Sofia is passionate about laser dentistry, and uses the latest laser technology on a daily basis. In 2010, she completed her Master of Science in Lasers from the RWTH University of Aachen, and is now one of the few dentists in Dubai who have mastered the use of dental lasers. Dr. Sofia is particularly interested in Low Level Laser Therapy and uses lasers to transform her patients smiles in the least painful way possible; she also uses lasers in treatments for gum disease and bone defect augmentation, and is generally fascinated by the healing power of low level lasers.
