Dr Siju is one of our visiting specialists at The Dental Studio Dubai and is definitely our “go to” expert dentist on Endodontics, the more familiarly known speciality of root canal treatment. Dr. Siju Jacob completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore (1992-1997). After a brief stint as a Lecturer, he completed a 3-year Post graduate program in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. (1998 – 2001) In 2001, he moved back to Bangalore to start a practice limited to Endodontics. In 2004, he founded “The Root Canal Clinic”, Bangalore’s first and only practice limited to Microscopic Endodontics. Dr. Siju was the first Endodontist in Bangalore to advocate the use of a surgical Microscope to perform all Endodontic procedures. Today, he is recognized globally as an Expert in Microscopic Endodontics. He is passionate about educating Endodontists and dentists on advancements in Endodontics. This eventually motivated him to set up India’s first training centre for Micro-Endodontics at Bangalore. He lectures and conducts hands-on courses for dentists, both in India and abroad. He serves as an Endodontic expert on several popular online educational forums. His articles, cases and lectures can be accessed throughout the internet. He has also contributed to two reputed Endodontic Textbooks.
