Shereen Hassam graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Western Cape, South Africa. She completed her post graduate training at George Mukhari Hospital (2000 beds), Pretoria, South Africa and at Redcliffe Hospital, Brisbane, Australia which allowed her to manage and treat a large variety of conditions including the rehabilitation of Orthopaedic, Neurological, Spinal, Paediatric and Burns patients. She relocated to Dubai in 2008. Shereen has a keen interest in treating Myofascial pain using Trigger Point therapy and Dry Needling techniques. She has furthered her knowledge in the treatment and management of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy by receiving her certification in multiple courses including: Certification in Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Shoulder Conditions, Myofacial pain, Lower Limb Biomechanics and Treatment of Cervical & Headache Syndromes. She is registered with the Health Profession Council of South Africa and Dubai Health Authority.
