Dr Rolf Soehncher was born in Cologne, Germany, where he completed his pre-medical education. He attended Medical School in Munich, London and Hamburg where he graduated in 1982. Show More me with the Military he completed a two year Fellowship at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Research Center in New York City. In 1986 he started his residency training at the Determatologische Universitaetsklinik of Ludwig Maximillians Universitaet Muenchen, Under Prof Dr Braun-Falco. In 1990 he received the title Facharztf Dermatologie (German Board). In 1991 Dr Rolf Soehnchen was named Oberarzt at Dermatology University Hospital at the FU Berlin (Prof Dr Orfanos) being in charge of surgical dermatology section. From 1994 to 1996 he was Medical Director at the Dermatologische Klinik Wersbach and treated predominantly patients with chronic skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. From 1996 to 2006 Dr Rolf Soehnchen had his own busy Dermatology Office In Burscheid, Germany. Since 2003 he also worked part time as a Dermatology Consultant at the North Middlesex University Hospital in London UK. In 2006 Dr Rolf moved to Dubai where he started a Dermatology Service at the American Hospital. As of May 2011 Dr Rolf practices from Cooper Dermatology Clinic. Dr Rolf Soehnchen lectured on various subjects on clinical dermatology in international conferences, he wrote 30 articles in German and international scientific journals.
