Dr. Khan’s experience in Anaesthesia and Critical Care includes Training in four countries, (Pakistan, Ireland, UK and Holland) over a period of 24 years. He is a Consultant Anaesthetist in Southend University Hospital, UK, with special interest in complicated back surgery, ultrasound guided nerve blocks, complex urological surgery and acute and chronic pain, especially chronic back pain and pain in cancer and palliative care. He is Director for Day Care in the university hospital and a tutor for junior anaesthetists in the teaching hospital.
