Raquel graduated in 2010 as an Occupational Therapist from the Oviedo University in Spain. She completed her postgraduate studies in Early Intervention at Antonio Nebrija University (Spain) and in Gerontology at Oviedo University (Spain). Show More of Sensorimotor Skills, Sensory Processing Integration, Visual-Motor Integration, Visual Perceptual Skills, Fine Motor Control and coordination, Gross Motor Control and coordination, Self-care Skills, Social and Peer Interaction Skills, Executive Functioning Skills and Handwriting etc. She is also trained in the treatments of Sensory and Perceptual disorders, Down´s syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Hand Injuries, Rheumatic Diseases and Neurological Conditions. Furthermore she develops and manages rehabilitation plans for Activities of Daily Living (ADL), Assistive Devices and Environmental Adaptation. At present she is working towards certification in Psychomotor Therapy. Besides this she has always had a professional interest in Manual Massage and Energy Healing which has resulted in her obtaining diplomas in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder Method), Chiromassage, Deep Tissue Massage, Soft tissue and other forms of Massage Therapy such as Californian Massage, Sports Massage and Kinesio Taping. In addition Raquel holds a Master Reiki degree. She has extensive experience in the benefits of combining her knowledge for the benefits of her patients.
