Dr. Tayara is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and has provided pediatric dental care to children since 2004. She earned her dental degree at St-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. Post-graduate residencies at Ste-Justine Children’s hospital in Montreal, Canada, and St-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon allowed her to develop greater expertise in pediatric dental treatment and in treating medically compromised children with extensive dental needs. Dr. Rafif Tayara holds a hospital appointment at Belhoul European Hospital, Dubai, where she provides treatment for her patients requiring general anesthesia in a hospital operating room. Annually attending continuing education courses enables Dr. Rafif Tayara to stay at the forefront of her specialty so that she can provide optimal care to her patients. She is also a regional lecturer in pediatric dentistry and community dentistry, aiming to raise oral health awareness in the UAE. Dr. Rafif is also dedicated to serving the local community; she is a credentialed pediatric dentist on Operation Smile, a worldwide charity organization healing children's smiles, making the world a better place. Dr. Rafif and her team at The Advanced American Dental Center provides in classroom discussions on dental health and “oral health events” to several schools and nurseries in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
