Dr. Raafat Lakis is a renowned Dermatologist in Lebanon and the Gulf region. With over thirteen years in his field, Dr. Lakis has acquired valuable experience and a refined expertise, becoming a pioneer in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology and Laser Therapy. He graduated from the American University of Beirut and received his M.D. degree in 1996 and his Dermatology specialization degree in 2000. Dr. Lakis is Double-Board Certified (Lebanese and Arab Board). He was the first Lebanese Dermatologist to acquire the Arab Board Certificate in Dermatology in 2000. Dr. Lakis is a member of The Lebanese Order of Physicians and the Lebanese Dermatologic Society. He is holds specialist licenses in Dubai, KSA, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. From 2002 to 2006, Dr. Lakis headed the dermatology department at the Obagi Center in Khobar, KSA. In 2004, he underwent intensive training in the United States which allowed Dr. Lakis to perfect his skills. In 2007, he established his private practice in Lebanon, while maintaining his job in KSA, and expanding to Qatar and the UAE. Dr. Lakis currently practices in Lebanon and in Dubai offering his patients the latest in dermatological techniques and technologies. Dr. Lakis is sought after by many TV programs, where he appears providing consultations and advice in the field of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Dr. Lakis still travels frequently to Europe and the United States for educational purposes, with the objective of staying up-to-date with the latest trends and informed on the newest technology and equipment.
