Dr Nayla Daou United Arab Emirates

Nayla Daou, Psy.D. is a clinical psychologist and founder of ClearMinds Center for Emotional Health, DMCC. She currently works with children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing a wide range of behavioral and emotional difficulties. Dr. Daou’s subspecialty include treating young children and children experiencing trauma-related difficulties. She additionally has expertise in behavioral parent training, working carefully with caregivers to improve upon parenting skills and communication skills to effectively manage their children and adolescents’ behavior problems and to improve family relationships. Dr. Daou’s theoretical frame of reference is insight oriented psychodynamic psychotherapy, attachment-based psychotherapy, and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT). However, she uses a variety of other treatment approaches to meet the specific needs of her clients.​ Dr. Daou received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the American University of Beirut and holds a Master degree in Child Development from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is licensed in Dubai and the United States.
