Beginning her pediatric therapy career in 1998, Nannette moved from the US to Dubai in 2003. After three years with a Dubai-based special needs center, Nannette realized the needs in the UAE were overwhelming and she began to follow her vision to establish the UAE's first medical center for children... Nannette works with children of all ages challenged with sensory processing disorders, dyspraxia, learning disorders, physical difficulties, ADHD, and autistic spectrum disorders, among others. Nannette is highly committed to helping parents, advisors and educators, and takes an active role supporting the special needs community in Dubai. She works as an educational consultant in special needs for schools and frequently helps families with the early stages of diagnosis and support. She was the first Sensory Integration Certified therapist practicing in the UAE and has recently become the first trained GAPS Practitioner in the region. She strives to continue state of the art care, best practice, and evidence based interventions. Nannette mentors, supports and leads kidsFIRST therapists to ensure every family receives the level of quality they deserve.
