He was so compassionate with my 2 year old son and assessed his milestones finding autism spectrum disorder. Although, this was a sad discovery, we had strong suspicions and the Dr offered us hope and solutions that we could use straight away to help our son. My colleague recommended that I see Dr Mukhlis to seek his help regarding my child's development. Little did I know that meeting him would change my life. I was impressed by his great ability to listen and link all he information to reach a definitive diagnosis, just like a detective. As a parent I was well informed and felt very much involved in the decision making of my child's plan.

In 2017, we were looking for a competent consultant peadiatrician with long experience in working with children with developmental delay or with ASD. We discovered Dr Madlom through internet search and our criteria were qualifications and long experience in an advanced environment giving access to latest R&D knowledge and international best practices.

Dr Madloom met these criteria and more. He showed knowledge, professionalism, competency, empathy, supportive and friendly attitude that we felt very happy, comfortable and confident in his diagnosis and advice.

Very briefly - Dr Mukhlis went outside his line of duty to help connect us to a special teacher for my daughter, a teacher who had the specific niche we were looking for. We can't thank Dr Mukhlis enough, as he's really helped influence my daughter's life for the better in such an incredible way. Thank you and recommended a thousand times over!

We were suffering for 1.5 years with my son's continuous ear infections and later from communication and speech delay. We were going nowhere after visiting so many doctors and speech therapists.

Eventually Dr. Mukhlis was suggested by a therapist as they needed an official diagnosis for our son's condition and a recommendation for treatment.

Dr. Mukhlis is very systematic, scientific and thorough. He read all the previous reports and tests before meeting us for the first time. He then started his autism diagnosis by eliminating the noise factors, which could lead to confusion.

In our case, he advised to proceed immediately with a grommet operation for my son ears before diagnosing him with Autism and he has refused to waste any time on methods which are not research based and scientifically proven.

Our son was diagnosed with mild autism now and Dr. Mukhlis has given us his recommendations. It's a long journey of therapy but we feel that Dr. Mukhlis has put us on the right path.

My recommendation for any parents is to start with a good, well-educated development pediatrician if they suspect that there is something wrong with their child's development. We have wasted so much time and money because we started from the therapists and general pediatricians. Lots of advice was given to us for the purpose of money making and have led us to nothing.

Our son has social and learning difficulties at school. After several assessments and many recommendations by different clinicians, we felt rather confused and a bit lost. We also felt our son had so many different therapy sessions, he was missing out on the normal experiences of childhood and was becoming exhausted! (not to mention the very high costs of sustaining a heavy schedule of therapy).

I heard Dr. Mukhlis speak at a coffee morning. I was very impressed with his clinical knowledge not just from an academic point of view, but also with his tenure of experience in this region and working for many years on the NHS.

He has an impressive knowledge of developmental and learning disabilities. Dr. Mukhlis was realistic, reassuring, and importantly very positive with us and our son. He did clinic and school observations and helped us put some of the feedback we had about our son into perspective.

He also helped us identify and implement the most appropriate support for our son at school and in other aspects of his life. On account of Dr. Mukhlis' help, we feel more capable and knowledgeable about how to help our son, what to expect in the next few years, and what kinds of support will make the greatest impact for him to cope with his challenges.

So after so many disappointments from other doctors, with different diagnoses, I decided to go ahead and book an appointment with Dr. Mukhlis.

The first consultation he took the time to speak to me, explaining everything, answering all my questions etc.

I appreciate the fact he took the time to go to my kid's school and do observations through out the day and spoke to the teachers to get as much info as possible. After a couple of days I had a meeting with him to discuss the outcome from his observations and a therapy plan etc.

We were looking for a developmental pediatrician here in Dubai for 5 months until we found the one opinion we were able to trust.

Dr. Mukhlis happened to be the only one who was able to explain our child's condition in a good way, and he was really the only one who clearly understood what activities should be done by us, as parents, in our case.

Unfortunately, other specialists who we visited were sending us to do different tests and activities which happened to be not required at this stage or even not required at all and Dr. Mukhlis very clearly explained why they are not required.

I believe we were lucky to find Dr. Mukhlis in the middle of our search for a good center for our child. During our first meeting with Dr Mukhlis it was clear that we met the right person. He was really friendly and even knew what our concerns were as parents, like what are the challenges, what should we do and what we need to do to help develop our child's skills.

We are beyond impressed with our experience with Dr Mukhlis. I have visited number of Drs before meeting him and I can honestly say we were completely blown away by how helpful and kind he is and how fast he connected with us and our son.
