Hello Everyone.

I went for a general ophthalmology check up with a Polyclinic as usual and after a thorough checkup my ophthalmologist told me that my right eye had a cataract and I would require cataract surgery with IOL changes.

But my inner hunch prompted me to go in for a second opinion and I started looking for a specialist ophthalmologist in Dubai as I did not want to fly to India (As we Indians normally do).

After quick research I found Mediclinic Welcare Hospital and found Dr. Mohini Thakur and decided to consult her. I met Dr. Mohini and after a thorough eye examination and photographs of the eye taken, Dr. told me I wouldn't require a surgery at all, as it was something minor and my vision was perfect with my glasses. I had no problems absolutely.

Doctor Mohini was very courteous and examined me for a long time and the best part is, she showed us the diagrams and enlightened us on every minute detail.

I am very happy with Doctor Mohini and would definitely recommend her to anybody who needs an ophthalmology checkup and treatments.
