Dr Merel Goeree Van Dijk United Arab Emirates

Dr. Merel Goeree grew up in The Netherlands and studied at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, where she qualified as a Medical Doctor in 2007. She earned her qualification as a Specialist in Family Medicine in 2012 and has been practicing as a GP since then. Dr. Merel did an internship international medicine at Kenyatta Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya as well as an extra-curricular internship at the Gyno-Oncology ward of the world renowned hospital for Oncology, the Daniel den Hoed Clinic. Dr. Merel is certified by the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG) as well as the General Medical Council (GMC UK). As General Practitioner, Dr. Merel is often appreciated for her communication skills which she believes this is the most important qualification for a General Practitioner. Her work is characterized by a personal approach, preventive care and focus on the patient’s needs in a broader context (i.e. family, work, religion, etc.)
