Dr. Mavluda Macdonnel is a very experienced Specialist Family Medicine Practitioner with over 20 years of international quality primary care. Dr Mavluda is a member of the prestigious General Medical Council (GMC), United Kingdom and a Belgian certified physician and is committed to providing a full range of personalized patient-centered health-care services, including preventive medicine, travel medicine, tropical medicine and effective treatment for existing problems. Dr. Mavluda began her medical career in the Former Soviet Union eventually receiving her medical degree from the prestigious University of Ghent in Belgium where she trained to be a family medicine practitioner and specialized in emergency and disaster medicine. Working in a variety of treatment facilities around the world including hospitals in Nigeria to practicing in the Accidents and Emergency department in at the well respected A.Z Monica hospital in Belgium, Dr. Mavluda is well versed with treating different ethnicities and brings a high level of cultural competence when treating her patients. Relocating to Dubai in 2010, Dr. Mavluda aims to continue delivering the highest standard of quality care to those she treats, and improving the lives of her patients.
