Dr. Alapatt is a leading Internal Medicine specialist with a special focus to provide best diabetes treatment and care in Dubai. He practices a holistic approach for the treatment of diabetes, believing in the close link between an individual’s physical and mental well-being and the importance of preventative medicine and sustainable lifestyle changes. Dr. Alapatt has a bachelor’s degree (MBBS) from prestigious St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore, India in 1985. Subsequently, he has completed Post Graduate studies (MD, General Medicine) from same college and MRCP in United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. Recently, He has completed his Master Degree (MSc.) in Diabetes from Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Prior to joining at JTS Medical Centre, Dr. Alapatt was Head of the Department of Medicine at Mediclinic – Welcare Hospital, Dubai for 15 years and he was running a very busy inpatient and outpatient practice. Also, he has an excellent and impressive practice record based in India and United Kingdom.
