Lama Al Khuja United Arab Emirates

Graduated from American University of Beirut in 2005, Lama was chosen to enroll in the leading Dietetic Internship program provided by the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Upon its completion in 2006, she joined the American University of Beirut Medical Center as a Clinical Dietician. Her role comprised of providing medical nutrition therapy for various diseases, surgeries, conditions and ages, inclusive of Diabetes, Renal Failure, Heart Failure, Oncology, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Metabolic Diseases and Pregnancy, in an inpatient and outpatient scope. Furthermore, she was an educator and a preceptor for Nutrition students enrolled in the Dietetic Internship Program at the medical center. She also served as a guest speaker in several medical conferences, community events and universities. Along with her work in the medical center, Lama acquired her thesis based Masters degree in Nutrition & Dietetics in 2010. Lama joined Health Bay Polyclinic in 2011. She offers a wide scope of research-based up to date medical nutritional management for all surgical and medical conditions as well as pre and post-natal nutrition & weight management.
