Dr Jozef Bielek graduated from Comenius University Medical School in Bratsilava, Czechoslovakia. He specialized in Pediatric Surgery at the University Children’s Hospital in Munich, Germany and joined the University Children’s Hospital in Basel, Switzerland in 1997. Dr Jozef was appointed senior... Show More consultant in 2005 where he continued to contribute to the surgical and academic services of the University Children’s Hospital. In 2009 he joined a hospital in Dubai for one year, only to return to Switzerland as Deputy Chief of the Pediatric Surgery department of the Children’s Hospital in Biel, Switzerland. Dr Jozef has now joined a group of Pediatric Surgery Consultants in Zurich, Switzerland from where he travels to the The Children’s Medical Centre in Dubai for regular consultations. His clinical interests extend across General Pediatric Surgery, and inclued correction of chest wall + skull deformities, pediatric neuro, plastic surgery, the treatment of general Pediatric trauma and other fractures.
