Mr. Balekian is highly recommended as a healthy lifestyle coach, exercise therapist dealing with weight management, pain control, stress control,..... I experienced all these and more and he helped me with a lot of practical advice.

My mom was referred to Haig by her Internist after her angioplasty for licensed exercise therapy services.
Aside from my mom’s heart condition, she is diabetic, hypertensive, has high cholesterol and is on medications for all of these.
Being older and not accustomed to exercising regularly, Haig has been able to get her to start a routine and explain how each type of exercise helps her control her conditions and why this is important. He also explained the appropriate intensities that will help her with her conditions.
His clinical knowledge and experience has proven to be excellent. Considering her conditions, he has kept a precise record of her blood pressure, blood glucose, what she eats and the quality of her sleep at every session which has been shared with her doctors on several occasions.
Haig is also easy to get along with and my mom felt comfortable working with him. The therapeutic exercise that he has prescribed and delivered has definitely benefited my mom. It helped maintain her health, slow the progression of her conditions and helped avoid related complications.
I would strongly recommend him as an exercise therapist to anyone that has a chronic condition or that wants to stay healthy or improve their health.

Haig is an exceptional exercise therapist that gives his patients a 100% of his time and attention. Mid March 2011 I was diagnosed with a prolapse of the L5S1 disc, which is the last disc on the vertebra. I was advised bed rest and eventually to exercise in order to strengthen my core. I took 15 sessions with Haig, which helped me improve tremendously.
I am much stronger now and capable of walking and living my life the way i did before the prolapse occurred. Haig, like I mentioned already is extremely attentive, and at every step assesses the condition of his patients thoroughly so he can advise and conduct exercises best suited. Rock star therapist! : )
Haig has been my Exercise Therapist and general health and well being consultant for just over 2 years. Though I am fast approaching my 40th year, I am happy to say that I am probably in the best shape I have ever been in, this is primarily due to the work that I have been doing with Haig. Not least of the changes I have experienced is a significant drop in my cholesterol levels of about 35% to 139.
First and foremost, Haig's attention to detail in his approach to the my well being has been relentless, from the general health assessments to the minutia in monitoring and correcting every repetition while exercising thus ensuring the maximization of benefit from any activity we engage in. His knowledge of the human body is second to none, and I should know having worked with numerous personal trainers and having a nutritionist and Pilates trainer for a spouse.
Throughout this time, Haig never rested on his laurels, but has always been in a state of self development in his field, through continued education as well as broad based readings. I have thoroughly enjoyed our discussions on these various issues, and Haig has a knack for making the time fly during a workout.

Initially referred to Haig Balekian by Dr. Uchil Lalit, Medical Superintendent of Welcare Ambulatory Hospital, Dubai in February 2008 for reasons related to high cholesterol count. The options were immediate medication or lifestyle change. After 5 months of working three time a week with Haig, cholesterol count was deceased by 22%, and after 18 months by 38% to a sub normal value through guided and adapted physical activity and nutritional recommendations.
Other benefits of Haig’s support include
• avoidance of neck surgery on a significantly herniated disc at C5/C6 level through adapted physical activity that also allowed for prevention of injury and greater awareness of body posture and position facilitating improved general performance and return to active sports e.g. scuba diving;
