After getting her Bachelor in Physiotherapy/Physical therapy from the CEU University of Valencia (Spain), Gema worked 2 years in a Hospital developing several techniques such as: preoperative and postoperative treatment of orthopedic patients, musculoskeletal disorders, whiplash injuries, kinesiothe... Show More rapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Manual Therapy (mobilizations, myofascial treatment, massage, superficial dry needling), Neurological Rehabilitation Physiotherapy, pelvic floor exercises, electrotherapy (ultrasound, high and low frequency electrotherapy), thermotherapy, micro current, kinesio –taping. While working, Gema got her Master in Osteopathy and Manual Therapy from UCAM University of Murcia (Spain). In 2012, Gema moved to Dubai where she worked in one of the most renowned hospitals in Middle East. The therapies she used there were: Structural Osteopathy, Cranial (adult and children) Osteopathy, Visceral Osteopathy, Myofascial Induction, Trigger Point Treatment (Manual Therapy and Superficial dry needling), Technique Dejarnette, Mitchell Treatment (muscle-energy), Pregnancy Physiotherapy, TMJ Disorder Treatment, Headaches and Migraines Treatments. Gema recently was certified as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist on the Foeldi Clinic in Germany, one of the most reputable and pioneer in this type of therapy clinics. Therapy includes: Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-Vodder technique) and Complete Decongestive Therapy (Compression therapy, exercises, skin care).
