Dr Salihi is great! very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest European and American protocols. She delivered my 3rd child via VBAC. The delivery was very fast and there was no time for an epidural. I was NOT prepared for this but Dr Suzanne was excellent. She was able to get me to calm down and help me focus. She guided me every step of the way and was a true calming force in quite a stressful situation. She encouraged me when I thought I couldn't go on.

She was also sensitive to the fact that I was in a lot of pain and was about to give me some pain medicine but the baby's head came out and the worst was over. I never wanted a natural birth without epidural but after my experience and with Dr Salihi's guidance and support I'm thinking that I'd give it another try if I was ever to get pregnant again. However, I would definitely try to be more prepared. i.e. books, videos, courses, breathing techniques, etc.

I switched to her very late in my pregnancy as it was not a good fit with a previous provider. Not only did Dr Salihi accept me so late, she also addressed all the my concerns and definitely proved to me that she was an extremely competent provider. I knew I was in good hands. The care after I gave birth was excellent too. She was thorough and available whenever I needed her. You won't be disappointed. Her new clinic (The White House Clinic) on Beach Road is great too.
