In November of 2013, I had pain in my tooth. My usual dentist told me all I needed was a filling. However, not two days went by and my filling came out. I went to another dentist and she told me the same and gave a filling. This time four days go by and I am suddenly awoken by an electric shock type pain going from my head to mouth. It was so unbearable that I couldn't talk for some time. I was then recommended to try the American Dental Clinic and found them on the internet. I was booked in quickly and received the best dental care I've ever had.

Upon entering the dental clinic on Jumeirah Beach Road, I was immediately made to feel at home by the caring reception staff. Soon after I met Dr. Deyse Carvalho who upon hearing my story ran tests which included full x-rays. Only then was it discovered that my wisdom tooth was attacking the next tooth. After giving a full written account of the procedure she would undertake, and to which I agreed, Dr. Deyse started on relieving the immediate pain. A couple days later an excellent surgeon came in to undertake the operation. After the operation, I was given Dr Deyse's number in case I felt unwell and was told I could call her in case of emergency. The next day I even had a free check-up to make sure my health was good.

Overall Dr. Deyse delivered excellent patient care and the best service. All the staff who supported her equally excellent. I cannot recommend the American Dental Clinic highly enough. It's a shame the first two doctors whom I saw did not run thorough checks that would have avoided the electric shock pains I received.

I have no hesitation in saying Dr. Deyse is the best dentist I've ever been to.
