Dr Carol Smylie is a British Qualified Family Medicine Specialist. She qualified from the Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London University in 1982. She decided early on in her career to specialize in Family Medicine, and after working in hospitals and family medicine clinics in England, Scotland, Cyprus, and Gibraltar she moved to New Zealand and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. She enjoys the variety of work involved in Family Medicine but has a special interest in women’s health, menopause, Paediatrics and travel medicine. Her current extracurricular pursuits include sailing and Muay Thai Kickboxing, and she is a keen organic gardener.
