Dr. Betina graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Heidelberg in Germany. She completed her residency in pediatrics in 1996 followed by further specialization in Pediatric Rheumatology. In 2001 Dr Betina was appointed Head of Department of Pediatric Rheumatology at the SRH Hospital ... Show More in Neckargmuend, Germany. In 2008 she inaugurated a specialized Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic in Bensheim, Germany where she practices as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist. Dr.Betina has been an invited speaker to numerous international meetings, especially within the Middle East. She is a member of the Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PRES), the Pediatric Rheumatology International Trials Organization (PRINTO) and the German Rheumatology Society. Dr Betina’s clinical interests lie in the early detection and treatment of rheumatic diseases in children and the improvement of long term outcomes.
