Qualified with MD from the Medical College of Damascus University in 1978. Trained in Paediatric Surgery in Bristol University Teaching Hospitals in the UK until 1988. Worked as specialist paediatric surgeon in various teaching and non teaching hospitals in the UK and Dubai. Former lecturer and paediatric surgical tutor in Dubai Medical College from 1990-2004. Board member of Accumed Practice Management Company from 2009-2012. Special interests: Treatment of paediatric general surgical and urological disorders from infancy to 13 years of age: - All types of hernias in children in both genders - Circumcision and penile deformities. - Testicular disorders, congenital and non congenital. - Excision of various lumps from different parts of the body. - Various diseases of bladder and kidneys. - Consultancy on congenital malformations of the GI and urinary systems.
