Dr Aqeel Farooque United Arab Emirates

Dr Aqeel Farooque is a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist with over 14 years’ experience in the UK, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. He worked as a consultant in the UK; and Saudi Arabia, before moving to Al Qassimi Women’s & Children’s Hospital, the Ministry of Health’s flagship tertiary children’s hospital, where he is the Head of the Diabetes & Endocrinology Unit. He is also an Assistant Professor at University of Sharjah and teaches on their MSc Diabetes program. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health (FRCPCH). He trained in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology in various prestigious tertiary centers such as Birmingham Children’s Hospital amongst others. Dr Aqeel manages all conditions related to children’s diabetes and endocrinology and is well versed with the latest technologies related to the field.
