Dr. Ghanem is a one of the most highly qualified and well known plastic surgeons in Dubai. His illustrious career began after he finished his Bachelor’s degree and Residency from Alexandria University and left Egypt to pursue his Masters in Surgery in UK. He went on to complete 4 years of surgical training in Edinburg, Scotland and Dublin, Ireland and was awarded a distinguished Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), UK. Dr. Ghanem’s exceptional surgical experience spans all over the Gulf region and is well known by his peers. He helped in developing and expanding the Plastic surgery, Reconstructive and Burns unit first at Rumailah Hospital, Qatar and then at Hamad General Hospital, Qatar as a Senior Consultant. He spent another 10 years at Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha doing the same. He has a long experience in in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery that extends over many years. His illustrious career is marked by many distinctions, which include regular contributions to medical periodicals on new techniques in plastic surgery, and frequent invitations to be a guest speaker at international medical conferences. Since the year 2000 Dr. Ahmed Ghanem has been working in the private sector in Dubai where Aesthetic Surgery constitutes the bulk of his work.
